We would love to have you join us with Feed the Kids. We will be helping bag food items to be handed out to families in need. Note this is a Wednseday and in the evening. If you would like to donate food items here are a few suggestions or contact Lisa at the email address below and she can give you a list of items. Needed food items include cereal, peanut butter, canned chicken and tuna and canned vegetables. For more information, contact lisa@himcenter.org |

We are proud to say we have been helping Allies for 5+ years and they are one of many community organizations we support. If you would like to bring items to donate they are always in need men's and boy's shoes in all sizes. |

The Sunrise Rotary Club has hosted a Prom for the Special Needs High Schoolers in our District for 14+ years now. The event is unique in that it is held specifically for those students in our District that may feel uncomfortable attending their respective schools Prom. The SPED educators in our District approached the Sunrise Rotary about this event several years ago and we gladly complied. The Prom has come to be known as the highlight of the year for these students and we want to make sure this tradition continues. We usually have about 100 students attend and it is truly their highlight of the year. The Sunrise Rotary in conjunction with the Special Needs educators in the high schools provide a great experience for the students with a DJ, full menu, photos and, the highlight of the evening, raffle gifts for every student. |
