Dictionary distribution

During the months of January and February Rotarians have been busy distributing dictionaries to every third grader in the Mansfield school district.  The Sunrise Club and the noon club distributed dictionaries to ten elementary schools each.  The Kiwanis Club gave dictionaries to the remaining two elementary schools so that every third grader received their dictionary.  The students and teachers were very excited to receive these dictionaries.  One teacher commented that she would be able to do so much more in language arts in the classroom now that each student has his/her own volume.  The students were thrilled to have their very own copy and one student proclaimed he would keep his forever!  Rotarians have as much fun distributing the books as the students have in receiving them.  Above is a photo of two of our Sunrise Club members, Linda Bacsik and Noreen Kennedy, with one of the third grade classes they visited.
